European Central Bank promised to prevent collapse of the euro

‘The European Central Bank has no taboos concerning measures on saving the euro’, – said Dragi, a chairman of the ECB.

‘There will not be any euro zone’s disintegration, so you should not underestimate the efforts that have already been made by leaders of EU states on creation of monetary and economic union, and the support from the peoples of Europe – said the head of the ECB. – The task on saving the euro is a part of our bank mandate and we will do all that is necessary for this’.

Dragi also emphasized that the euro is not in danger, although a number of analysts predict the collapse of a single European currency. He also noted that the creation of closer financial euro zone, budgetary and political union is inevitable.
