Schools to decide who will service their boiler rooms

Today, on July 18, during a meeting of the executive committee of Uzhgorod city council, the participants voted for the abolition of the controversial decision of the Executive Committee, made on February 3, 2012 "On the cost of services for boiler rooms maintenance in educational, healthcare and culture institutions", which were imposed to the services of “Uzh-teplo” and had to pay exorbitant prices.

During the preparation for the heating season 2012-2013 budget funds managers – department of education, medicine and culture – must hold a tender for services for boiler rooms maintenance themselves.
