‘Student’s Republic 2012. Transcarpathia’. How it was (PHOTOS)

The multi-festival ‘Student’s Republic. Transcarpathia’ was held in the village of Lumshory (Perechyn district) for the second time. This year the festival lasted for four days – from July 10 to July 14.

From all over the region came more than 400 students and this is 17 teams, which had fun, competed in agility, speed, originality, rested and swam in the river. Such a number of participants formed the whole tent city. All the wishing had an opportunity to participate in a variety of competitions from intellectual to simply fun and unusual such as improvised gay parade, battle of extrasensory individuals, etc.

Mini-festivals took place up to ten every day. One of the most striking was the body-art competition. Each team got topic and then worked on participants’ bodies simply incredible pictures. Team received points for each victory. As a result of all the games the most active team was determined, which eventually got a box of ice cream.

Student’s republic is a special country, which has its own currency – studiky. Exchange office is located in this country and all the products are bought and sold only by student’s money. By the way, you could win studiky. Student’s republic like every country has its leaders. Each year, students choose the student’s mayor. This year’s mayoral post took Kateryna Kelemen of the team ‘Yedyne Studentstvo’.

‘Student’s republic is an opportunity to socialize with interesting people. This is an opportunity to relax with benefits’ – said Roman of the team ‘Bograch’.

Among the most beautiful boys and girls were identified Mr. and Lady of Student’s republic 2012. These are probably the only participants who instead of having fun spend all time at rehearsals. They must prepare outfits, consider outputs and performances. It is not that easy to be beautiful. 

The holiday ended up with tears, farewell with new friends and promises to meet next year. Each multi-festival participant was filled with emotions. And organizers shared a secret that in the future they are going to organize winter ‘Student’s republic. Transcarpathia’. Currently, the winter fest is held in Crimea.
