People walked on the coal and launched wreaths on the water in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

In the regional center of Transcarpathia celebrated Ivana Kupala holiday. Ukrainian traditions preservationists gathered on the banks of the river of Uzh in order to ask the higher powers for health and happiness in combination of water and fire elements and remind the wonderful family traditions. Merging with nature and rudiments was accompanied by songs and all the necessary rituals. Thus, they burned Mara and Kupayla on the large fire, and girls launched wreaths decorated with candles on the river.

Such an interesting action in Uzhgorod promotes enthusiast Bohdan Dykyy, who argues that walking face does not only safe but also cleans, heals the body and gives it energy. And then all participants and observers had an opportunity to jump through the Kupala fire – as usual, it protects people from evil and reveals its love. But whether someone from Uzhgorod participants of Kupala celebrations went to search for fern will remain a mystery…
