Prosecutor’s Office finds out the causes of 16-year old girl death on the bank of the river of Uzh

16-year Uzhgorod citizen was struck with electric current near the inflatable pool on the territory of beach recreation zone of one of the private establishments on quay of the river of Uh yesterday, July 2, nearly 5 p.m. She died in the intensive care department and her friend received burn injuries.

According to preliminary information, 10 grades were just going into the river, near the inflatable swimming pool not far from the submerged electric pump, which inject water from the river in the swimming pool. The pump was attached to the power supply via an electric cable. The First Regional Prosecutor’s Office Deputy Anatolii Savchenko, the Regional Prosecutor’s Office Deputy Vitalii Roman, the Uzhgorod prosecutor Ivan Shtefanyuk and the investigative team immediately arrived at the scene.

In order to clarify the circumstances of the child’s death, the Prosecutor’s Office engaged in all the relevant regulatory authorities: State Energy Supervision inspection in the Transcarpathian region, the territorial administration of SGS, ‘Zakarpateoblenergo’ workers, MOE experts and others.
