“Studio Slovo” launches a series of films “Secrets and mysteries of the Carpathians” (VIDEO)

As the director of Transcarpathian publishing house "Studio Slovo" (“Studio Word”) Yury Krilivets told uzhgorod.in, recently the work on a series of short story videos "Secrets and mysteries of the Carpathians" has been completed. In the days of the festival Gamora 2012, it is appropriate to tell about it, because the story is devoted to the historic smithy of the village of Lisichevo.

"The work was very interesting. We tried to use the local legends, met the residents of Lisichevo, local pupils. Unfortunately, the author of an interesting book about the legends of Lisichevo was then abroad. The architect of Prague, an author of the wooden architecture of Europe Karel Kucha also joined the project. Author of the project "Wooden churches of Ukraine" is Elena Krushienskaya (Kiev). We hope that it will bring viewers positive impressions", – said Yuri Krilivets.

The entire series of videos will tell about interesting, obscure and sometimes even mystical places and phenomena in the Carpathians. Since the release of a full-length documentary movie takes a lot of time and money, the initiators of the "Secrets …" made the decision to issue a printed booklet with an attached DVD, which contains a story about a particular object and phenomenon.

"In the near future we are planning to publish such booklets with films about the frescoes of Goryanska rotunda, with a story about Karst bridge in Mala Ugoljka in Tyachiv district, Nevitsky Castle”- the director of the publishing house reveals their creative plans – the main objective of this work is to interest the viewer, to make him or her after watching the story want to personally assess the beauty of Transcarpathia".
