Uzhgorod Mayor Victor Pogorelov rebuked municipal police for poor revenue from the results of its work. Today, on June 27, at the meeting of the executive committee of Uzhgorod, the city mayor complained that the police have collected only 24 thousand hryvnia into Uzhgorod treasury for 5 months.
However, the deputy chief of the municipal police Shushko Alexander noted that the protocols, in particular, for illegal street trading are being compiled, but they are issued to persons who are not registered in Uzhgorod. Therefore, the fines go to villages too. But there are no administrative committees, respectively people do not pay fines at all.
In addition, members of the Executive Committee, the Chairman of the regional branch of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Margarita Moshchak and the MP of the Regional Council Victor Trykur reminded the "municipals" that for more than a year the Executive Committee’s decision to dismantle the souvenir kiosk, located in front of Uzhgorod castle, hasn’t been satisfied.
