Car of Uzhgorod traffic police head was set to fire. Who is next?

It has become fashionable to set celebrities’ cars to fire in Uzhgorod. As uzhgorod.in has already reported a chairman of regional department of Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Transcarpathian region, a member of the executive committee of Uzhgorod city council Margarita Moshchak’s car Toyota Highlander was set to fire by 2 unknown in her private courtyard on June 10. And now, unidentified individuals set a head of Uzhgorod traffic police lieutenant colonel Oleksii Spivak’s car ‘Toyota Avensis’ to fire in the yard of the house which is placed on Onokivska Street in Uzhgorod at night, June 19. The car was poured with some flammable liquid and was lit up.The fire destroyed the interior, front and back part of a car.     

The criminal proceedings issue is being settled on the fact of the deliberate property damage by means of arson (article 194 CCU). The victim himself O. Spivak appeals to citizens with a request for any information provision concerning the paymaster and performers of setting the car to fire, by guaranteeing confidentiality and remuneration for information in the amount of 10 thousand hryvnia.
