The day of Ukraine’s fan will be celebrated for the first time on July 21, informs UNIAN with the reference to the National Olympic Committee (NOC). A solemn ceremony of Ukrainian Olympic team sending at the XXX Olimpiad Games in London will be held exactly on this day.
The idea of the holiday, which is to unite Ukrainian fans of various kinds of sports have developed those student who participated in the educational project ‘Practical Marketing’.
This idea was supported by National Olympic Committee. Its president Sergii Bubka is sure that a new holiday ‘will unite our citizens around the sport and will promote the popularization of healthy way of life and healthy nation upbringing’.
