MTS was left without electricity – because of this Uzhgorod citizens didn’t have signal

Today, on May 28, as reported by uzhgorod.in, in the first half of the day in Uzhgorod, as well as in Perechin there was no connection between the subscribers of one of the leading mobile operators. As the expert on foreign relations at "MTS Ukraine" Volodymyr Hytsyak explained to uzhgorod.in, electricity breakdown appeared at one of the transformer substations in Uzhgorod, which supplies electricity to the mobile operator’s facilities. As a result, several base stations were de-energized. Therefore, they resumed their work through the use of alternative sources of supply. Now MTS with local electricians are figuring out what caused the problem.
