Improvement! The single tax payers may not pay fines

The Council introduced the moratorium on the penalty sanctions application to the single tax payers for the filling tax declarations and tax liabilities calculation order violations made during the period from January 1 up to December 31, 2012.

235 deputies voted in favor of the relevant draft law number 9661-D from the minimum 226 required votes.

The document also includes the moratorium introduction on the use of the administrative sanctions to the single tax payers in the form of penalty for the wrong filling in the income book and book of incomes and expenses in the period from January 1 up to December 31, 2012.

Besides, the improvement of several Tax Code provisions is expected, including the registration procedures simplification for taxpayers, the taxes and duties administration improvement, the conflict of interest prevention between the taxpayers and controlling bodies, the provision of greater opportunities for taxpayers in the use of special modes and also the end of the ‘single window’ principle implementation during the state registration of economic entities.

We want to remind you, that the draft bill number 9661-D was registered in the Parliament on February 17 and was adopted by the Parliament on March 13, in the first reading. Vitalii Khomutynnik and Oleg Tsariov from the Party of Regions are the authors.

As it was reported, the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov criticized the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and Ministry of Finance for the delays in the regulations development for a simplified tax system.
