Ukraine joined the list of countries with the best higher education system. The Minister of Education, Science, Youth and Sports Dmytro Tabachnyk announced this during the briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers.
He said that experts from the University of Melbourne (Australia) investigated the quality of higher education systems in different countries when evaluating resources and investments in the government system and the private sector, international relations and cooperation in the education sphere and scientific results research aimed at the labor market’s needs meeting.
‘The list of countries with the best level of higher education system has been complied on the basis of research. The USA, Sweden, Canada, Finland and Denmark hit the top five. Ukraine took the 25th place, overtaking the Czech Republic (26th place) and all the Commonwealth of Independent State countries and the Eastern Europe. In the top of ten entered Switzerland (6th place), Norway (7th place), Australia (8th place), Netherlands (9th place), UK (10th). Singapore (11th), France (15th), Germany and Hong Kong (shared 17th), Japan (20th), Portugal (23rd place), Span (24th place) hit the top 25.’, said minister.
