Ukraine postponed the summit which everyone ignored

Ukraine postponed the holding of 18th Heads of Central Europe Summit which was appointed on May 11-12 in Yalta (Crimea) – informs Ukrainska Pravda.

This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine the press secretary Alexandr Dykusarov at the briefing.

Such a decision was made due to the fact heads of a number of European countries will not be able to participate in the summit in the indicated dates.

‘Ukraine considers it appropriate to postpone the summit’ – reported Dykusarov.

The new summit terms will be defined later, he said.

As it is known, 10 countries: Poland, Albania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, Montenegro and Moldova will visit the Heads Central Europe Summit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed at the end of April.

However, later the President of Croatia Ivo Yosypovych stated that he refuses to participate in the Summit as a sign of protest against the human rights violations in Ukraine.

The invitation to attend the summit was also rejected by President of Germany Joachim Gauck, President of Albania Bamir Dragovini, President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev, President of Latvia Andris Berzynsh, President of Czech Republic Vatslav Klaus, Chairman of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Bakir Izetbegovych, President of Montenegro Filip Vuyanovych.

At the same time a number of Heads of States referred to the tight schedule, and some on human rights violation in Ukraine.

The dissatisfaction with European politicians causes the situation with the case of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
