Rescuers are still searching for the three-year-old boy who fell into the mountain river

Today, April 10, the Transcarpathian rescuers continue to search for the child from the village Lopukhovo of the Tyachevo district who fell into the mountain river Yablunitsa.

The tragedy occurred at 19.30 on April 7, when two local boys of 5 and 3 years were playing with a stroller on the bank of the river. Yosyp, the smaller one, stumbled and fell into the water while trying to get the stroller out from the river.

Rescuers found the boy’s sneaker and t-shirt when investigating the area of probable location of the child on April 9.
Locals are helping to search for the child – said the head of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Transcarpathian region.
