Will we ever know who voted for the sale of pharmacy and pool? (Documents)

Uzhgorod city council did not provide the results of the roll-call vote by deputies of the previous convocation. They explained that such results are not kept.

As you know, December 2, 2013, the deputies under public pressure adopted the decision according to which the information about voting by deputies shall be open. According to the decision, a printout of the results of the voting shall be published on the official website and provided on deputy’s request.

The author of the article tried to find out about the results of roll-call votes by deputies of the last convocation on the sale of municipal property. So, through the city council deputy Vasyl Hnatkiv, he appealed to the City Council with the relevant request for information. Uzhgorod mayor’s office answered that this information can not be provided.

"According to the regulations of Uzhgorod City Council, only miniutes of sessions in printed form and audio recordings of the council meetings on CD-ROM are subject to archiving. Showing results roll-call vote in the minutes of the sessions is not provided by any regulatory document, and therefore they are not kept" – the Mayor Victor Pogorelov answered.

So for now, the community can not know which deputies specifically voted for the sale of different public property, including the pharmacy number 1 on Korzo street and the pool which is now owned by the former mayor of Uzhgorod.
