The head of the RSA Hennadiy Moskal took part in the famous festival "Hamora", which takes place annually in Lysychovo in late June. And he suggested how to solve the problem with financing of the known forge opened back in the 18th century.
– "Hamora" is the only functioning water forge in Ukraine and a very attractive tourist destination, which has the status of a historic monument, – H. Moskal said. – However, it has long been in need of restoration, but the village council has no resources for it. That is why we are going to consider the establishment of a branch of the Regional Ethnographic Museum at the "Hamora" and financing it from the regional budget. The forge can become the center of blacksmith art not only in Transcarpathia, but in Ukraine as a whole. It is indeed a unique tourist and historical site, the potential of which is still far from being used in full.
