The head coach of Uzhgorod "Goverla" Vyacheslav Grozny after the match against Kyiv "Dynamo" within the 22nd round of the championship of Ukraine on the "Football 2" TV channel said that the next championship consisting of 12 teams is contrary to the regulations.
– All the scandals and troubles in the Premier League recently have been associated only with violation of the regulations. For the sake of the "Project 12", they want to get rid of a number of teams, including us. There must be at least 14 teams. The regulations say: 14 or 16. There is no 12 option, so there should not be such format. Players have a very different attitude psychologically when they understand that not matter how well they play, "Goverla" is not going to be in the Premier League. I believe in common sense, that the regulations will be enforced.
We must live by the law, it’s the same as the Constitution! It is wrong to change the rules ten rounds to the end. Do not do this, because any team that will sue you will win! All teams developed strategies for the championship based on the assumption that you must not be lower than 13th place, and suddenly the rules change. You can not do that! We must develop football, because soon only "Karpaty" remain in Western Ukraine – Grozny said.
