Viktor Orban in Brussels held talks with the head of Ukrainian state

Before the European People’s Party meeting in Brussels, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban held talks with the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko – Dr. Havasi Bertalan, spokesman of the Prime Minister informed.

Viktor Orban urged the Ukrainian government to accelerate economic development program for Transcarpathia, meetings of intergovernmental commissions on cross-border cooperation that the Hungarian government supports.

The Prime Minister noted that the issue of visa-free regime for Ukraine was very important. Migration issues that Europe is facing should not affect the process of visa liberalization with Ukraine – MyHungary.Net reported citing the MTI agency.
