Victor Pashchenko “Smolanka’s act is an example of intelligent policy”

Political analyst Victor Pashchenko commented upon the candidate Volodymyr Smolanka’s decision to withdraw his candidacy in favor of Pavlo Chuchka: "As I have said, commenting on the withdrawal of Vehesh in favor of Kemenyash, I rarely see a reasonable behavior on the part of politicians. But Vehesh’s act was very reasonable and adequate. The decision of Smolanka is the same. Chuchka and Smolanka are the elite of the region and even Ukraine. There should be more people like them in the parliament. It would be better if both of them were the parliament, but, unfortunately, this is impossible.

This is the position of intelligent people who have ample opportunities. The withdrawal of the candidacy is not a problem for Smolanka. There are many areas where he can realize himself. It would be quite logically if all the democratic candidates agreed on one candidate. Today this candidate is obvious. Less than three weeks are left before the vote. We’ll see how they feel after October 28."
