Victor Baloha, “It is the community of Transcarpathia who will decide whether we will or will not be deputies”

The People’s Deputy of Ukraine Victor Baloha issued a statement regarding his participation in the parliamentary election. He wrote in his Facebook:

"Friends, I want to dot the i regarding the participation of our team in the early election:

1. The "United Center" Party does not nominate the list to the parliament. The country is at war, the enemy is in the East, and we are in the rear should show unity.

2. We are not running in the list of the "Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc." We are running in one-seat constituencies – the same as in 2012.

In the previous election we did not give the region to Yanukovych. In this election, we will not allow Putin’s friends and fans of terrorist organizations "PRD" and "PRL", some of whom have residence in Transcarpathia, to get into the parliament. We will not refuse from assistance in this cause, and if the "Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc" decided to support us, it means that we have the same view on this issue." 

Victor Baloha says: "I understand the irony of some of you. But it is the community of Transcarpathia who will decide whether we will or will not be deputies. We are not running in a closed list, which guarantees the seat. We are running, as always, looking into the eyes of each of our voters."

"As I have said, I decided not to use billboards and other campaign means. All surplus funds will be used for the needs of our guys in the Donbas, including the 128th Mukachevo mountain infantry brigade" – Baloha said.
