Uzhgorod will receive extra million for road repairs

This year, Uzhgorod will receive for road repairs almost one million more than planned. 

According to the general list of facilities and customers of construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of streets and communal roads in populated areas at the expense of subventions from the state budget to local budgets in 2014 and balances of 2013 in the new version, approved by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration, People’s Deputy Valeriy Lunchenko on July 30, Uzhgorod can use 14,039,000 UAH for road repairs. Of these, 3,221,000 UAH is the balance of the previous year. Previously, it was planned to allocate to the regional center 13,330,000 UAH for road repairs in 2014.

Overall, this year in the regional center, they plan to repair 73 streets. Major repairs will be carried out only on Universitetska, Surikov, Antonov, Karmelyuk, Lehotsky, Sobranetska, Strilnychna streets. On the rest of streets, only patch repairs are planned.
