Deputies approved the "Program for participation of Uzhgorod in the grant project "Co-development project of joint tourism based on youth sports and leisure centers" for the years 2013-2014.
This refers to the grant won by Uzhgorod together with the Polish city of Krosno, with the participation of Baranyntsi Village Council, and the total budget of the project amounts to 574 868.98 euros.
The cost of the project for the city of Uzhgorod is 59 856.00 euros, of which the grant comprises 90% – 53 870.4 euros, and 10% – 5 985.6 euros – are Uzhgorod city funds.
The approved budget for the program of measures to be implemented in Uzhgorod is as follows: 191,000 hryvnias. The city budget provides 163,500 hryvnias for 2013, and 27,500 – for 2014.
The Department of investments, innovations, development and tourism (Travina O.) of the Directorate for Economics and Business of Uzhgorod City Council was appointed as the executor of the Program.
The following events within the framework of the project are planned: opening in Uzhgorod a city cycling tourist center, preparation of a bilingual guide and the arrangement of bicycles points.
