May 28th, the Border Guard Service of Ukraine celebrated their professional holiday. On this occasion and on the eve of International Children’s Day, Chop border guard detachment organized an unusual excursion for schoolchildren.
Students of the third form of one of the city schools visited the defenders of state borders. At the border guard unit "Uzhgorod", students saw the exhibits of the Museum of Military Glory, the cars and motorcycles, weapons, special devices and thermal imagers which are used for the protection of the state border.
In addition, children were demonstrated the show of dogs. The border guards simulated the situation close to reality. There were real ammunition for firearms, drugs, and violators of the state border. Four-legged guards did not disappoint – the illegal items were found, offenders were detained.
At the end of the tour border guards treated children with sweets.
