Uzhgorod residents want to “encourage” the city authorities for street cleaning

This idea was suggested by one of the residents of the regional center in the group "Uzhgorod" on facebook.

"Let’s gather near the City Council to encourage the mayor and all municipal services to clean sidewalks (not joking)" – the user wrote.

The opinions about the post are divided. Some are ready to go to the City Hall with or without shovels, others say that the mayor and the utilities must do it without a "magic push."

"And to prove that the complaints are justified let the mayor and his administration have a "Car Free Day" – thus, they will check the state of the roads with sidewalks and the work of public transport, and excercise a little along the way…", "So, instead of helping… You keep waiting for a miracle… Will the city become dry and clean after you rally…?" – townspeople write. And answer: "Better take a packet of salt and pour it on our mayor and the deputies. Maybe then they will start to work."

Meanwhile, as seen with the naked eye, the streets of the city are a real test for shoes, coordination and nerves.
