"Today I saw that at the intersection of Sobranetska and Mytna street, the road sign – a green arrow at the traffic lights that allowed right turn at the red light – had disappeared. Nobody I have asked knows how, why and where it disappeared, but everyone agrees that this situation adds even more problems and inconveniences for every driver " – this issue was raised in the "Uzhgorod" group in facebook by photographer and journalist Yury Lomakin.
"Higher time and fuel consumption, which today is worth a lot, and consequently higher level of pollution – these are only some of the nuances.
If the sign disappeared not by accident – perhaps they should have warned drivers and the public about the reasons for the decision.
And if it disappeared under unknown circumstances, it must be restored soon" – the young Uzhgorod resident said.
"It would be nice to see the missing street sign back in its place. I think all the drivers, who respect the traffic rules, will agree" – Yuri says.
The poster hopes that the message will be read by traffic police and services that are responsible for security and traffic management in the city of Uzhgorod. In the comments section he is strongly supported by Uzhgorod drivers, asking to return the arrow at the crossroads.
