The organizers of "Uzhgorod Regatta" announced on the page on Facebook that this year the event would take place on August 7.
It is a traditional humorous sporting event, which has been held annually on the Uzh river since 2010. Participants on original makeshift watercrafts start from the beach near the Gorky Park and finish at the Masaryk bridge. Winners receive prizes in various categories.
