Uzhgorod police detained a bicycle thief (PHOTOS)

During a night patroling, Uzhgorod policemen noticed two suspicious men on bicycles. The citizens did not respond to the request of the police to stop, and one of them left the bike and ran to the park. Another suspect was detained by the police.

The incident occurred on October 16, at about 1:30 am. During the search, the policeman found on the man’s person mittens and hydraulic tongs. The citizen could not explain where he got those things and the bikes.

An investigative team was called at the scene. As it turned out, those things had been stolen from a private garage on Kapushanska Street, whose owner recently appealed to the police with a statement about the theft.

Investigators have taken up the case.
