Uzhgorod gasps because of the “open air toilets”

With the minimum requirement of at least 12 public toilets, in Uzhgorod operates only one toll toilet adjacent to the pedestrian bridge at the Kyiv embankment.
The problem of public toilets in the regional center of Transcarpathia is extremely sharp though Uzhgorod is a city that is visited by many tourists. Half a year ago, city officials officially allowed to use restrooms in the city hall, municipal enterprises, institutions and organizations at no cost.
Managers of catering facilities of different ownership forms were also recommended to provide free access to their latrines (for a fee or free of charge in accordance with the requirements set by the owner of the facility).
But are these "recommendations" followed and does it solve the problem?
With the minimum requirement of at least 12 public toilets, in Uzhgorod operates only one toll toilet adjacent to the pedestrian bridge at the Kyiv embankment.  There are two more permanent public pay toilets – at the central bus station and railway station.
Our "hotline" often receives calls from readers who ask if the mayor Pogorelov is going to notice that in Uzhgorod people often are forced to relieve themselves in open air under a tree or a house, not to mention that our porches rises are turning into a kind of toilets.
