“Uzhgorod floats”: fishing for kids in the company of swans (PHOTOS)

The first charity holiday "Uzhgorod floats" took place in Uzhgorod.

From 12.00 to 15.00, on the lake popularly known as "Kirpichka", children had an opportunity to not only try to catch fish themselves, but also learn how to do it properly, without harming the lake fauna.

The event was organized by the NGO "Association of Fishermen of Uzhgorod", together with the Uzhgorod District and Uzhgorod City Center for Social Services for Children, Family and Youth. Uzhgorod entrepreneurs helped to arrange a sweet table for children and prepared gifts.

They decided to arrange the holiday for all children who are interested in fishing with a particular attention to children from socially vulnerable families. The organizers believe that by getting children interested in fishing, they can protect them from the negative influence of the street, – the initiative group of the holiday said.
