Intensive work on repair of rolling stock, station, communications, signaling and other equipment continues at Uzhgorod children’s railway. By agreement with the head of the regional branch "Lviv Railway" of the "Ukrzaliznytsia" JSC Ivan Hrunyk, the children’s railway in Uzhgorod will be re-opened in a festive atmosphere to the anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, ie on August 24 this year.
– We also discussed with Mr Hrunyk the situation with hail in Transcarpathia – H. Moskal said. – The head of the "Lviv Railway" promised to restore at the expense of his company the former railway hospital in Korolevo, which was transferred to the balance sheet of Vynogradiv district council (the restoration work has already begun). And to provide financial assistance to residents of Korolevo and neighboring villages who work at the railway.
