Uzhgorod Department of Municipal Economy will transfer 499,000 UAH to the account of the public utility "Uzhgorod utilities" for the maintenance of the city cemetery.
This was informed by the "Journal of Public Procurement."
For that money, the company during this year has to mow 32 acres of grass, take out 1,600 cubic meters of trash, cut 100 trees and pay for utilities.
Only 2 participants took part in the tender. In addition to the winner, another utility – "AgroMix" – offered to provide such services. They asked for their work almost 607,000 UAH.
Given that the two companies are formally headed by one and the same person – the head of the Department of Municipal Economy, it is possible that one company intentionally significantly overstated the prices.
