To surf in the World Wide Web before traveling to another city or village – recently, passengers on the Uzhgorod bus station received such opportunity. They provided free wireless Wi-Fi Internet access there.
As the head of the bus station Vagram Mkrtumyan reported to the publication "Stary Zamok "Palanok", they decided to provide this service in response to the request of passengers. Currently, at least 50 people a day ask for the password to connect to the network. The code is infomed to the passengers in the office when they purchase tickets.
But at the so-called "Perechyn" bus station Wi-Fi service will not be provided: the management of the station determined that there is no demand for the Internet there.
At the Uzhgorod train station, Wi-Fi service is not expected any time soon either. According to the Deputy Head of the station Pavlo Shkoba, the installation of wireless Internet access in the waiting hall is not in their immediate plans. And no passenger of the "UZ" has requested this service.
