US Ambassador to Ukraine John Tefft visited Uzhgorod

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine John Tefft met with Uzhgorod Mayor Victor Pogorelov.During protocol meeting the Mayor introduced Uzhgorod to the guest.

The Mayor said that tourism was a priority sphere for Uzhgorod, and in the long term the aim was to use the full potential of the city for touristic purposes, but now services and trade sectors were primarily developed in the city. U.S. Ambassador expressed his respect to Uzhgorod as the city with values which are very close for Americans ​​- tolerance and friendly coexistence of different ethnic communities and social groups – informs the press service of Uzhgorod City Council.
