On May 17 "Ukrzaliznytsia" introduces an experimental system of passenger tickets booking through the Internet, Ukrinform reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
Passengers can use the new system of booking tickets through electronic service channels on the official site “Ukrzaliznytsia” ("Ukrainian Railways") in the menu "For passengers" or using a direct link http://booking.uz.gov.ua/. One can choose a route, find out about availability and pay for tickets online. The system provides the opportunity of payment using all existing in Ukraine non-cash ways of payment.
The new system is designed with the experience of similar technologies introduced the world’s shipping companies – Deutsche Bahn, Lufthansa, TGV, etc.
