Ukraine inhibits the transition to new fuel quality standards because of the interests of domestic business

Transition of Ukrainian refineries to production of higher-quality gasoline has once again been postponed. Since yesterday, in Ukraine there have been new standards for fuel quality – "Euro-4" and "Euro 5", but the expert-analytical group in the Cabinet proposed to postpone the date for 2018. This solution benefits "Naftogaz" and the businesses of "Private", which do not invest in the modernization of their plants, according to market participants.
