The delegation of Transcarpathian region took part in the Days of Ukrainian-Hungarian neighborliness between Transcarpathian and Szabolcs-Satmar-Bereg regions, which took place today in the Hungarian town of Oyok.
The Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko welcomed the participants of the event. "It is a difficult time for our country, we are fighting with Russian aggressor, defending our independence. In this struggle, we constantly feel the support of our friends around the world. We are particularly pleased that Hungary is one of our partners in Europe," – the press service of Transcarpathian Regional Council informs.
After the official part of the holiday, there was a cultural program, during which numerous groups, including those from Transcarpathia, were enterntaining the audience with their singing and dancing.
The festival once again demonstrated that good neighborly communication, sharing the experience of life in the European Union will actively contribute to strengthening of the existing relationships and establishment of new ones, the promotion of Ukrainian society in its European integration aspirations.
The Days of Ukrainian-Hungarian Neighbourhood have been taken place there since 2013.
