Two our compatriots were detained by border guards of the Chop detachment, the press service of the Chop border guard detachment reported today. One of them, a 40-year-old resident of Velyky Berezny district, was stopped by border patrol five meters to the state border. At the moment, the offender has been charged with attempting to illegally cross the state border.
Another Ukrainian was detained by border guards of the Tisa department. A 60-year-old local resident tried to return from Hungary to Ukraine outside the crossing point. He tried to quietly pass by the border guards, hiding behind the vehicles. The offender was detained on the bridge. The border guards are establishing why the man was avoiding border control, and the man will have to answer for his actions before court.
