‘Twin’ of lost ancient church is created in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

On the territory of old, abandoned cemetery on Kapushanska Street continues the construction of a church.

As it became known this structure is a wooden copy of Mykhaylivska church, architecture of the XVIII century from the village of Neresnytsa in Tiachiv district that burned in 2003.

The elements of the roof are being put these days. The workers have been working for 3 months already.

The workers turned out to be very sociable and said that they are – from Rakhiv. They are engaged in the work with ‘roofs’. To the question how workers can work without belays, the head of the construction group said: ‘How can we work without belay? Beams are our belays!’

However he refused to say how much such work costs.
