With the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a flowerbed with original Dutch tulips was arranged in the village of Nevytske in Transcarpathia.
The project was implemented within the framework of the "Incredible villages of Ukraine-2018" contest. As a result, the village of Nevytske was given an incredible gift, which would allow the village to become even more attractive.
Representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine, in particular, agriculture adviser Carolyn Spaans, took part in the planting of tulips. She said that she believed that this wonderful village had all the opportunities for further development and a great chance to become a tourist center of Transcarpathia.
The tulip flowerbed is placed near the sign "Love Nevicke," it is a copy of the Keukenhof floristic park in the Netherlands. The Dutch supplier of flowers Stokolex provided for the project 10,000 bulbs of tulips.
The installation was designed by the Ukrainian landscape designer Olena Domilovska, who lived and studied in Beregovo, in the Ukrainian gymnasium. According to her, there will be more than 20 varieties of perennial Dutch tulips in the park in Nevytske. The first result of this charity campaign will be visible in April next year.
