Transcarpathians Lazoryshynets was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Health

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Vasyl Lazoryshynets as the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine – Chief of Staff. The text of the relevant order dated April 16, 2014 № 372-r was published on the website of the government.

"To appoint Vasyl Lazoryshynets as the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine – Chief of Staff," – the order states.

Vasyl Lazoryshynets was born on May 25, 1957, in the village of Sokyrnytsia in Transcarpathian region. He began working in 1979 as a nurse of the surgical department in the hospital № 12 in Kyiv, while studying in medical school. In 1980, he graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute, specializing in general medicine.
From June 2003 to February 2004 he worked as the Deputy Director for Research of the Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named after Amosov of the AMS Ukraine. Then until January 2008 he headed the medical and organizational department of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

Later he was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine. His appointment was marked by the statement of the Minister V.Knyazevych about the need to create the Heart, Mother and Child Center at the MOH.
