Those who respect the customs and traditions of their grandparents and great grandparents are invited to take part in the regional festival-contest "Arise, Easter egg!", which will take place on April 23, 2016, at 11.00 on Narodna Square in Uzhgorod – the site of the Department of Education and Science of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.
The first such celebration of elegance, originality, respect for history and revival of the traditions took place in the region in 2013. Then, the media recognized it as the event of the year in Transcarpathia and one of the most popular ones.
This year, on the eve of Palm Sunday, each Transcarpathian, each guest of the city will be able once again to plunge into the world of beauty and richness of Easter egg making traditions, glean strength and energy from the ancient source of spirituality, and have the opportunity to make Easter egg in the chosen technique during the master class. More than 50 artists from all over the region will share their experience of creating these wonders.
So, we invite everyone to participate in the festival, to fill your hearts with warmth of the products made by children, to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of each creation presented at the festival-competition.
