Transcarpathians can stock up on gas for the whole winter at the summer price

Gas consumers are offered to pay for gas in the summer and use it in winter. According to the conditions of the campaign, Transcarpathians have the opportunity to purchase their own personal gas reserve for the entire heating season. The gas price for such stock is fixed at the summer level – UAH 5,995.53 per 1000 cubic meters (incl. VAT). The campaign is entitled "Your Energy Independence". It will start on August 23 on the eve of Independence Day and will last only a month. 

"Your Energy Independence" campaign will allow consumers to reduce their gas costs in the heating period by up to 25%. The Naftogaz of Ukraine is a guarantor of gas reserves and a stable price for it. The maximum volume of gas purchase is limited: 25 thousand cubic meters per household per season – from October 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020. 

According to the terms of the campaign, only consumers who have no outstanding debt can take part in it. In order to purchase the so-called "winter" gas, one needs to come to the Customer Center or to file an application through the "Personal account" on the site 104.ua. 

The gas stock can be purchased at the summer price – UAH 5,995.53 per 1,000 cubic meters. However, the price does not include gas delivery (distribution and transportation) services. These components will have to be paid for at the current tariffs on a monthly basis during the period of consumption.

If the purchased gas reserve is consumed by April 1, 2020, the consumer will be able to obtain gas under general terms, at the price in effect at that time. Those consumers, who do not use all the purchased gas by April 1, 2020, will have the balance credited to their personal account. This money can be used for further gas payments or can be refunded upon request.
