Transcarpathian writers go to Luhansk

On the initiative of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine it was proposed to organize orientation tours for the writers of remote areas.

The most western region of Ukraine – Transcarpathia chose as a partner the most eastern one – Luhansk. The difference between them is clear and interesting.

On Thursday, two Uzhgorod representatives – the head of the Transcarpathian NUWU, poet Vasyl Husti and writer and journalist Oleksandr Havrosh go to Luhansk. The guests will meet with their fellow writers and students.  Also Transcarpathians will visit Krasnodon, the village of Oleksiyivka, where for seven years Boris Grinchenko lived and worked, and the most eastern point of Ukraine. In total the visit will last four days, from October 27 to 30.

The visit of Luhansk writers to Transcarpathia will take place also in fall.
