Transcarpathian soldiers should feel respect of their fellows

Ukrainian legislation contains many acts which in varying degrees provide benefits for veterans. Recently, the president signed amendments to the law "On the Status of War Veterans and Guarantees of their Social Protection", according to which military personnel participating in the ATO shall have the status of combatants. According to this law, combatants are soldiers, "who have defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, taken part in the ATO, ensured its implementation, as well as employees of enterprises, institutions and organizations involved in the support of the anti-terrorit operation, in the manner prescribed by law." Uzhinform provides full list of benefits that the defenders of the territorial integrity of our country are entitled to.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, October 2, in the Regional State Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater (the city of Uzhgorod,  Tolstoy Str., 2), there will be the honoring of the soldierss of the 128th Mechanized Brigade who returned from the ATO area. The event will start at 16.00, the press service of the administration reminds.
