On September 26, 2016, at 03.42, Svalyava police department received from the "102" service operator the report that an unknown person had thrown a grenade on the terrace of the restaurant "Bohemia" which caused an explosion. There were no victims.
The police crew was sent at the scene.
During the inspection of the scene, it was found out that the explosion damaged two windows of the restaurant building and three windows on the building of Svalyava State Tax Inspectorate, which is located across the street. Also, the wall and the roof of the restaurant "Bohemia" were partially damaged, the diameter of the damage is about two meters. The rear part of the stabilizer, likely to the "RPG", was found at the scene
The incident was registered and classified under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism, i.e. gross violation of public order for reasons of obvious disrespect for society, accompanied by the most outrageous and exceptional cynicism committed with firearms or knives).
The police determined that an unknown person, using weapons, likely a hand anti-tank grenade, made a shot at the top of the restaurant "Bohemia".
The investigation continues.
