Transcarpathian migrant workers can receive subsidies, but there are nuances

Andriy Reva, the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine explained the situation with receiving subsidies for utilities by those who work abroad.

According to the minister, the families of those, who work abroad, can apply for a subsidy only if such workers are officially employed or pay a single social contribution to the Pension Fund.

People working in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Baltics, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Spain and Slovakia, with which Ukraine has entered into a social security agreement, can be eligible a subsidy.

– Therefore, if such a citizen pays the SSC abroad and proves it with documents, the household, in which he or she is registered, has the right to receive subsidy in Ukraine under the general conditions, – the statement says.

At the same time, a person, who transfers to Ukraine money in excess of 50 thousand hryvnias, can lose the subsidy.
