“Transcarpathia reads to children”. The next meeting will take place tomorrow

The "Transcarpathia reads to children" socio-cultural projects arrives to the regional library for children and youth on 23 February.

We remind that the Transcarpathian projects is organised within the framework of the all-Ukrainian project "Ukraine reads to children". The project is arranged on the incentive of the Centre of the research of literature for children and youth in Transcarpathia, the writer Halyna Malyk, and with the support of the Department of culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.

The solemn opening of the project took place last month. At the event, many people attended the opening: the coordinators of the project, the first guest, Mykola Karpenko, the leading actor of the Academic Puppet Theater "Bavka" and a lot of listeners, more than a hundred pupils from different schools of Uzhhorod. Back then, the succession of the participant schools was decided by lot. This meant that the pupils of these schools joined the following meetings of the projects. Thus, the first school is going to be The Uzhhorod school No.1.

Now, pupils will be encouraged to read not only by professional writers and experts but also by bibliophiles who represent different occupations. The name of the new guest is a secret for the time being. To slightly reveal the shadow over the guest we tell you that the occupation of the guest is not connected with literature but with sport. Moreover, the sport is neither traditional for Transcarpathia, nor for women.

Students will not only get acquainted with the project and its representatives but also will get presents and souvenirs.
