Recently, the emergency rescue service of Transcarpathia has been receiving many calls from countrymen about hornets that settled in their homes, the official website of the regional office reported.
Thus, August 22, rescue workers three times were called to clean the houses off of dangerous insects in settlements of Mukachevo (the town of Chynadiyevo) Svalyava (the village of Holubyne) and Uzhgorod (the village of Vovkove) districts.
The next two calls were made yesterday, August 23.This time, the hornets invaded a country house in Horyany neighborhood (Uzhgorod), and a house in the village of Serednye in Uzhgorod district.
The Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region urges countrymen to be careful while eliminating wasp, bee and hornet nests.
Rescuers advise to spray nests with special substance from a safe distance. It is necessary to protect the respiratory system while doing it.
