Today, more than 16 thousand students in Uzhgorod started the school year

16 thousand 277 students are starting school year in Uzhgorod schools today. In all of them, except school No. 6, solemn celebration of the First Bell was held today, September 2. The organization of traditional line-ups at each school was approached creatively to make the festivities exciting, family-friendly and memorable for students and parents.

At the Taras Shevchenko Linguistic Gymnasium, for the first time, the festive line-up was held in the renovated courtyard: here, at the expense of the city budget, major repairs of the territory and the facade of the building were done, about UAH 3 million was allocated for it.

The students of the first grade laid a time capsule, which will be opened in 50 years, they left there their messages to future school students, their wishes. The children also planted trees that will now be decorating the gymnasium.
