On Friday (26 January), representatives of the Government of Hungary will deliver to Transcarpathia eight thousand doses of measles, mumps and rubella vaccine procured by the Ministry of Human Resources under the Hungarian National Immunization Program.
The vaccines will be handed over to the Transcarpathian regional organization of the Red Cross of Ukraine, which will pass them on to the infectious department of the Regional Clinical Hospital for Vaccination of Children. This humanitarian step was in response to the appeal of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration to the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod, with the request to provide the region with the medicines, which have been lacking since 2017.
The delivery of the vaccines will be attended by the head of the Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal, the authorized representative of the Government of Hungary István Grezha, the leadership of the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod, other officials. The venue is Transcarpathian Regional Sanitary and Epidemiology Station (Sobranetska st., 96), the estimated time is 12.00.
